Want to Join the HOA Board?
Dear La Collina Residents,
The La Collina HOA is currently seeking a volunteer homeowner to fill an open Member-at-Large position and is also looking ahead to identify a future Treasurer to join the Board by March 2027.
As a community of 292 homes, it is extremely important that we have homeowners willing to step forward and help shape the future of our neighborhood. Historically, finding volunteers has been a challenge, but the success and direction of our community depends on resident involvement and participation.
Member-at-Large Position
No prior HOA experience is required.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Attending one virtual HOA board meeting per month
- Reviewing and responding to HOA-related emails and community matters
- Participating in discussions, decision-making, and voting on items affecting the community
Future Treasurer Position (March 2027)
We are also seeking someone with financial and budgeting experience who may be interested in serving as Treasurer beginning in March 2027. This individual would have the opportunity to work alongside our current Treasurer and learn the position prior to assuming the role, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity for the Association.
Serving on the Board gives you the opportunity to:
- Have a direct voice in community decisions
- Provide input and opinions on improvements and future planning
- Help protect and improve property values
- Work toward solutions for ongoing community concerns
- Make a positive impact within La Collina
To be eligible, volunteers must:
- Be a homeowner within La Collina
- Be in good standing with the Association
- Have HOA assessments paid current and on time
- Have no open violations on their property
The HOA cannot function effectively without homeowner involvement. While it’s easy to assume that “someone else will volunteer,” communities thrive when residents are willing to contribute their time and talents. The Board makes decisions that affect every homeowner, and serving provides a unique opportunity to help guide the future of La Collina.
Whether you have previous experience or simply care about preserving and improving our community, your participation and perspective are valuable and appreciated.
If you are interested in either position or would like additional information, please contact Westcoast Management: hoa@wcmanagement.info
We encourage residents to consider becoming involved and helping continue to make La Collina one of the premier communities in the area.
